With hindsight, Peter should have seen the request to join the King for dinner coming. Stark would not let him waste away alone in his room forever. He enjoyed Peter's company too much and enjoyed having him by his side. Though it didn't stop him from getting desperate for a chance to leave the room before now. He'd picked at his bed frame until the wood had chipped and inevitably broken into sharp little sticks and the next time his door had opened to allow a maid and guard in he had lunged towards their neck until the wood broke skin.

❝ Peter dabs the cotton ball in alcohol before he presses it to the man's forehead carefully. Despite how careful he tries to be though, Tony still hisses in pain in front of him and Peter pulls his hand back.

"I'm sorry," Peter says, "but you shouldn't have gone to the fields alone, sweetheart"

"You said you liked flowers" Tony says hoarsely, as if he's been crying, and Peter tries to press the cotton ball to the man's forehead again but Tony stops him with his hand around Peter's wrist. He brings the palm of Peter's hand up to his lips, "I wanted to…"

"You wanted to get me flowers?"

"I wanted to draw you flowers," Tony lets the boy's wrist go, "flowers, themselves, die. I won't give you things that die, Peter"

"What exactly have you given me that won't die before?"

Tony shakes his head and stands from the couch he was sitting on while Peter had kneeled in front of him to clean his wounds. The cotton ball is taken from his hands before Tony walks off to his study, Peter decides that he'll take the man to the fields later so he can finish the half drawn flower sitting on the coffee table- without getting rocks thrown at his head. ❞

"When my father hears about this-"

"He won't. When I bring you home in 3 months time, spinning some story where I found you helpless in a fifty foot tall cage, your father will be heralding me as a hero and you will be nothing more than the captive prince who couldn't manage to escape his cell, let alone run a kingdom."

"I-"

"Accept it. I've won. And you, dear one, are my trophy."

Mob Boss Tony but Peter has no idea what he does for a living. He married Tony with every idea that his husband was a business man who owned a few clubs in town, albeit a little too wealthy, but he never becomes any wiser of the truth.

Until he makes the mistake of surprising Tony while he's at work. He's dressed pretty in one of Tony's favorite dresses and jewelry, lips painted red. The bouncers let him in and guide him to the club's back rooms, not noticing the dangerous company eyeing him or aware at all of the guns at their sides.

"Boss man's in the middle of something, doll, you sure you don't want to get a drink at the bar while he finishes?" The bouncer asked with his thick Italian accent so similar to Tony's.

Peter shook his head, sweet as candy, "I'll be quiet, I promise."

He's lead behind the smoky lounge hidden behind twelve inch concrete walls, men playing poker, and some counting stacks of money. Two dark oak doors loomed between Peter and his husband, the bouncer seeming hesitant to open them.

The gun in Tony's hand almost didn't make a sound with the silencer at its muzzle. The man cowering in front of him on his hands and knees fell to the dark stone floor with a sharp thud. Blood splattered into the air and immediately began to pool around the man's shattered skull.

Without so much as a second glance, Tony holstered the gun at his side, "Clean this up-"

Peter choked a cry into his palm, eyes wide with shock and terror. For the first time ever, he stared at his husband with fear.

Sim!Tony did a very good job at making Peter dependent on him, at making him trained to his every command. It shows when he's giving a speech to the world and he just casually drops their Codeword.

And Peter immediately steps forwards, presents himself to his daddy and starts pleasuring him live on tv

Howard bought a personal servant for his only heir.

A wonderful occasion that he only bargained for a mere handful of gold coins.

The boy was a clumsy, scrawny bastard, three years younger than his son. He had no father, he had no mother, and his guardians were only too happy to get rid of a mouth to feed when Master Stark knocked at their cabin.

He had been offered other chained servants free of charge as a token of appreciation for his mere presence near the horrid dump they called home, but really, Howard hated the prospect of rats swarming into his home and besmirching his possessions with their nasty paws. The young Peter was more than enough. And so, he retired with the miserable brat.

Howard took only a minute of his time to introduce the servant to his son - there wasn't much of a story about him that would require more time.

Peter, the brat, was only ten years old when he first attempted to smile at the young master.
